The World Wildlife Fund is a non-profit organization that specializes in the protection of endangered species. With leadership ties in 100+ countries, ambition is worldwide and expansive. Their website is straightforward with tons of information and ways to get involved. It gives you steps on how to get notified and be connected to their community. You also have a section to donate whichever dollar amount you’d like. The site also gives availability to join their network analysis and become a member online and work with them directly. The site gives you facts their work puts in each year, where they’re located, and step by step to becoming connected. Their social media accounts are very straight forward. They have Instagram, Twitter (X), Facebook, and LinkedIn. What I notice immediately is their online presence in followers with Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter separately have 1 million each. They are all posting relatively the same content and do a good job at providing transparency to their donation and career page. 

When focusing on how journalists and people online perceive the organization. It was tough trying to find an article or sources that didn’t come directly from the World Wildlife Fund’s website. Most articles made had nothing opinionated. They each mention the different projects the WWF have and ways to get involved. I did however find it much easier going into comments for my answers, and although they were all very similar, they came from people outside the non-profit. Even though it was tough navigating between bots and people, the “real” comments were of individuals supporting the post and giving positive engagement. Most of it included people tagging friends, giving their thoughts, or spamming random emojis. I will say on Facebook, most of the comments and feedback were more engaged with the post, and everyone seemed very excited. All in all, nothing online seemed to be giving the World Wildlife Fund a negative reception. They do a great cause and because of what they do, it’ll only stay like this for a long time.
